In what was scheduled to be the last game of the season HHC hosted their local rivals, Old Reigations M3s in a well humoured game that was closely fought.
HHC managed to field not just 11 but two substitutes as well, the first time they've managed to gather a full team for three weeks. Old Reigatians were anything but old, with a youthful, energetic and tenacious side with excellent basic skills and the apparent ability to run for 70 minutes without stopping. Horley played well but made mistakes that were seized upon to by OR's adding to the pressure on the HHC defence.
The pressure showed with two goals in the first half for ORs without reply from HHC.
The second half stared more positively for HHC with a few forays into the OR's area, but HHC were unable to convert any of these chances. The closest they came was from a set piece short corner which narrowly missed the OR left post.
ORs added one to their total before the game was up, a great relief to the HHC's tired legs.
