Left with 10 men for the second week running Horley Men's Seconds travelled away to Chertsey last weekend. Chertsey had a good side, but felt it necessary to play a physical game leading to some heated confrontations with the HHC forwards and midfield. Good umpiring saw the culprits punished with five minutes on the bench, but even that did not calm the Chertsey side down, leading to a thoroughly unpleasant playing environment.
Chertsey dominated the scoring, putting seven past the stand in keeper and Captain, Chris Stevens, who usually plays up front.
