This season the M1s achieved promotion through a 2nd place finish in the SOHL Premier Division. The team has played some excellent hockey during the season but when needed have also dug in to grind out results against promotion rivals including Surbiton, Leatherhead and Croydon & Old Whitgiftian’s.

Performances have been underpinned by consistently high availability and team spirit. This season saw the welcome return of current top scorer Brad Bosman and Richard Ledwich to lead the line alongside Michael “Whippy” Whitmore the team have chalked up 40 goals so far. While a consistently strong defence including Harrie Carnochan, Andrew Newman, Harry Crossley, Chris Austin and new player Atif Nawaz along with Goldwyn Fernandes in goal have been keeping the opposition forwards at bay and conceding just 26 goals so far. The midfield engine room has been led by the high energy combination of Josh Cooper, Liam Bashford, Scott Barron, Jack Sangster, Louis Kirkham and James Faires.
