Over the last few years HHC has benefited from 'Back to Hockey' with an increased female membership, which has just facilitated an excellent season for the L1s. The initiative, introduced by England Hockey in 2013, was originally aimed at providing women (returning or brand new) with an opportunity to get into hockey and after a few years of success the initiative is now being opened up to both Men and Women.
HHC is an avid supporter of the 'Back to Hockey' initiative, having participated each year since 2012, and we will be running our initial sessions throughout May and June, with the potential for more sessions later in the summer if there is enough interest to continue.
We will be launching our 'Back to Hockey' sessions with an introduction evening on May 5th. This will be an opportunity to meet the coaches and other 'Back to Hockey' participants in a relaxed atmosphere and ask questions ahead of the training sessions which will be held at Ifield Community College 'ICC' (Crawley RH11 0DB) and will be coached by the clubs Assistant Coach, Arfan Akhtar.
