HHC will be, for a third year, providing FREE 'Back to Hockey' sessions for 2015... and now it's open to both Men and Women of all ages!

A friend brought me along to a Back to Hockey session last year (2014) and I am now reaching the end of my first season involved, which has been so much fun. I would urge anyone considering hockey to come and give it a go!
- Jackie Killick, HHC ladies first team player

Over the last few years HHC has benefited from 'Back to Hockey' with an increased female membership, which has saved our Ladies team from the verge of extinction. The initiative, introduced by England Hockey in 2013, was originally aimed at providing women (returning or brand new) with an opportunity to get into hockey and after a few years of success the initiative is now being opened up to both Men and Women.

HHC is an avid supporter of the 'Back to Hockey' initiative, having participated each year since 2012, and we will be running our initial sessions throughout May, with the potential for more sessions later in the summer if there is enough interest to continue.

We will be launching our 'Back to Hockey' sessions with an introduction evening on April 30th. This will be an opportunity to meet the coaches and other 'Back to Hockey' participants in a relaxed atmosphere and ask questions ahead of the training sessions which will be held at Ifield Community College 'ICC' (Crawley RH11 0DB) and will be coached by our, Head Coach, Peter Bradby. Sessions will be held on the following dates:

  • Introduction evening, April 30th @ HHC Clubhouse (7:30-9pm)
  • Training Session #1, May 2nd @ ICC (11:00am-12:30pm)
  • Training Session #2, May 9th @ ICC (11:00am-12:30pm)
  • Training Session #3, May 16th @ ICC (11:00am-12:30pm)
  • Training Session #4, May 23rd @ ICC (11:00am-12:30pm)
  • Training Session #5, May 30th @ ICC (11:00am-12:30pm)
